AVA Accommodation Guidelines

Check-in is self-check-in.
Please enter your reservation number and other details on iPad at the reception on the first floor to complete the procedure.
For a smooth check-in, please register in advance using the app (aipass) below.

Check-out is at 10am.
As with check-in, please use iPad to check out.
If you are staying in a room with a key, please return it to the front desk.

If you are coming by car, please note that we do not have a dedicated parking lot.
Please use the private parking lots nearby.

Generally the front desk is unmanned.
For urgent matters, please call the emergency contact number from the front desk phone.

We have purposefully designed the interior to be purely Japanese, so that inbound guests can enjoy the traditional Japanese sleeping style.
Each room is separated by a "hamegoroshi" sliding door (a sliding door that does not open), which ensures privacy but does not provide soundproofing.
Quiet time is from 11pm onwards, so please refrain from chatting in your room after 10pm.
The cafe space on the first floor is available 24 hours a day, so you can use it for eating and drinking or as a work space even outside of opening hours.

Each bathroom is equipped with an all-in-one soap, shampoo and conditioner set made from 100% natural ingredients.
Each shower room and washroom is equipped with a hair dryer, and bedding and sheets are provided for the number of people in your reservation.
In order to reduce the burden on the environment, we recommend that you bring your own toothbrush, towel, etc.

For customers who cannot bring their own,
Bath towels (150 yen), face towels (100 yen), yukata (200 yen), toothbrushes (50 yen), razors (100 yen), earplugs (150 yen), etc.
This is available as an optional extra at an additional cost.If you need one, please purchase one at the front desk.

Cancellation fees will be charged according to the cancellation regulations of each reservation site.
Cancellation fees will only be waived in cases where transportation is paralyzed due to natural disasters or other reasons (highway closures, flight cancellations, etc.).
To cancel your reservation, please contact the relevant reservation site.
Please complete the procedure yourself.

Smoking is strictly prohibited within this facility.
If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking area in Obiyamachi Park, located right next door.

There are many restaurants nearby, including Hirome Market.
Our top chefs are waiting for you.
Please enjoy Tosa cuisine at the nearby restaurants.

There are no restaurants nearby that serve breakfast until around 9:00 AM.
At AVA-kochi, if you make a reservation by the day before, breakfast will be prepared for you in the cafe on the first floor.
There are two options (980 yen): "Hotel Bread Morning" or "Takachi Specialty Tosa Jiro Egg and Rice Set," available from 7:30 a.m.
If you wish, you can apply through the guest app (aipass).

There is no curfew, so you are free to enter and exit the facility 24 hours a day.
Please be sure not to lock the door from the inside, as this will prevent other customers from entering or exiting.

We cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items, so please take care of your valuables.
The capsule rooms and Japanese-style rooms on the second floor cannot be locked from the outside when you go out.
Please use the coin lockers on the first floor for valuables.(100 JPY)

There are two drum-type washing machines and dryers on the rooftop.
Please use as needed.
(Automatic detergent injection:Laundry: 300 yen / Washing & Drying:500 JPY)

There are two rental bicycles available.
If you wish to use this service, please make a reservation in advance.(1,500 yen/1 day)
